Call for New Editor in Chief
こんにちは。甲状腺(橋本病,バセドウ病,甲状腺エコー等)・動脈硬化・内分泌代謝 専門の長崎甲状腺クリニック(大阪)院長 長崎俊樹です。日本甲状腺学会認定 甲状腺専門医として甲状腺機能低下症,橋本病,甲状腺機能亢進症,バセドウ病,内分泌などのホットな話題をお届けします。
よほど人がおらんのかいな。 PHARMACOLOGIAという学術誌がEditor in Chief （編集長）を募集しており、志願せんかとのことです。MD and/or PhD degree（臨床医・医学博士）であるのが条件で、そんなもん今時誰でももっとるやろ。全く興味ないので応募しません。

As of May 20, 2014, new Management has been taken over the charge of PHARMACOLOGIA immediately and the very first task for the new management is to search out the new Editor in Chief and then new editorial board which will take full responsibility on July 1, 2014.
PHARMACOLOGIA is currently inviting nominations and applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief for a two-year term, ending December 31, 2016. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for oversight of each journal issue, all supplements, and the journal website. The transition will begin September 1, 2014, with full responsibility on January 1, 2015.
Candidates must hold a MD and/or PhD degree or equivalent and should hold an ongoing clinical practice and/or academic position. Candidates must be acknowledged experts and thought-leaders in the field and members of leading professional societies in the field of pharmacology. Candidates must have considerable authoring and editing experience in prominent, peer-reviewed journals and should have experience as active members and peer-reviewers on the Editorial Boards of journals in the field, with a proven track record for excellence and timeliness. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a wide network of professional contacts. Candidates must be able to meet the time demands of the Editor-in-Chief position.
Interested candidates should submit their most updated CVs, with the following documents to the Publications Committee by email editor@pharmacologia.com with a letter from the head of department indicating that their support of the application, indicating that they are in principle willing to support their active participation in the journal for a potential period of 2-3 years. A cover letter from the applicant explaining their motivation behind the application.
